Christmas Swell in the Mediterranean

Magic view on the Mediterranean

On Christmas 2011, a swell hit the shores of la Côte Bleue, an area located to the west of the city of Marseille. The surfers from the local collective Le Petit Comité and the Delpero brothers, Antoine and Édouard, couldn’t miss it. During the whole day, they scored small, but nice waves. There were not many people since it was Christmas and the water was cold. This session was even more magical due the clear water and the sunshine.

If you had doubts about it, the Mediterranean can deliver great conditions for a good surf with friends!

An Nou Ay | The Search

An-Nou-Ay-05

True to The Search philosophy, Rip Curl took its team riders Vincent Duvignac, Kyllian Guérin, and Miguel Blanco to a trip in the West Indies. During one week, they lived on a boat and scored glassy barrels in a warm and turquoise water. It is looks like paradise, doesn’t it? Unfortunately -or not-, they won’t tell where this spot is.

If the video is not enough, here are some photos to convince you that this spot is a surfer’s paradise.

This wave has already been surfed by American surfers Ben Bouregois, Asher Nolan, and Zander Morton. The photos of this trip can be seen here.
