The Future of Surfing is in Munich

Is the future of surfing in Munich, Germany? Watch this video edited by Citywave and make an opinion on your own.

For information, an artificial wave is set up at the Munich Airport every summer. Sponsored by the German airline company Lufthansa, this event lasts more or less 2 months and gathers many people, either they are surfers, enthusiasts, or tourists.

Shane Beschen, former World Tour surfer who surfed this wave a couple of times, even wrote on his Instagram account: “The Citywave was much better this year, allowing for real rail turns.”
