Surf In The City, by Brunch Bazar (Paris, June 7th-8th)

If you happen to be in Paris this weekend, don’t miss the Brunch Bazar. Why? Because it will take place at the Carreau du Temple (Paris 3rd district), which is a nice 3,000m² venue that was recently opened, but especially because the theme of this event is the Surf Culture.

During two days, you will enjoy various activities that are related to the surfing: sports, fashion, food, music, arts, design, etc.

The Brunch Bazar crew has teamed up with Quiksilver and Roxy to offer you a great experience with a shaping workshop with Phil Gracie, the customization of boardshorts and t-shirts, a nail bar with Gemey-Maybelline, a barbershop, and an accoustic concert on Saturday at 7pm. You will also discover the Modern Originals collection of Quiksilver, the Pop Surf collection and the Outdoor Fitness of Roxy.

At the pop-up restaurant A Noste, you will find steaklet of duck, polenta, goat cheese and other good dishes from the South-West of France made by Julien Duboué, chef of the restaurant Dans Les Landes Mais A Paris. You can also have steamed ravioli by Mum Dim Sum, and ham from Louis Ospital. As a dessert, you will have the choice between Ben & Jerry’s icecreams, smoothies, Basque cake by Pariès, etc.

Moreover, the Brunch Bazar team has made a nice selection of brands that will be present at this event: BWGH, Monsieur Lacenaire, Qhuit, Sebago, Antik Batik, etc.

As the Brunch Bazar is an event that has always been thought for the whole family -from the kids to the grandparents-, a corner Kidbazar (2-12 yo) will be set with several animations (like make-up) and workshops (DYI, etc.).

On Saturday at 3.30pm and Sunday at 6pm, the  Halau Hula O Manoa dancers will perform a Hula demonstration on stage. Please note that the Festival des Arts d’Hawai’i will take place in Paris from June 27th until July 6th.

On Saturday, Victor Aime, Darius, Kartell, and the French surfer Tim Boal will play music from 9pm till 2am. On Sunday at 7pm, Gush will play they new album “Mira”.
